Meet our Team

Cody Brink

Owner

Cody was born into the Outdoors Lifestyle with two parents that would rather be in the woods than in the big city.  He has a passion for all things outdoors. In his drive for the next excursion he has fished in the Sea of Cortez up to the unpopulated waters of Canada and back down to the Atlantic Ocean. When asked what do you like to hunt? He replies "Does it have a season?". Cody has dedicated his life to the Outdoors and Conservation.  He developed BRINKS EXCURSIONS in 2009 to help  others find their passion of the outdoors.

Daleen  Brink-michel

Land manager & pro-staffer

Daleen started off at a young age enjoying hunts and fishing outings with her grandfather. As she got older she developed the passion and urge to be in the forest. Now retired she spends most of her time developing hunting conservation grounds and chasing the next trophy Whitetail.

Randy Brink

land manager & Guide

Randy grew up hunting with his father. Always going out to bring food home to the family. He has had excursions all over the world enjoying the outdoors from bear hunting in Alaska to the snorkeling on the shores of Australia.  Back in 2001 He moved back home to Iowa where he has focused his efforts on fishing and chasing trophy Whitetails.

Tara Brink

PRO-STAFFER & TEAM BRINK EXCURSIONS

People who knew Tara growing up would have said she  never would be an Outdoorswoman. But she got exposed to a BRINK EXCURSIONS adventure and got instantly hooked. She now is a passionate hunter always looking for an excuse to hit the field. She also is our top Woman's shooter for the BRINK EXCURSIONS Shooting Team.

Tasia hulin

Sister to Cody, Tasia is a passionate hunter that has came from the same family hunting heritage. Now as a parent she is passing on her passion for deer hunting and turkey hunting to her two little ones.

Ryan Mcgeghee

Ryan has been a friend and close hunting buddy of Cody since they were 4 years old. They have had a lot of first time excursions from boating a river in a blizzard to shooting their first geese. Ryan helps manage the properties to help provide premier hunting grounds.

Greg Garrels

When asked what would you like to say about yourself...
"I'm a badass" was the only response we got.
Greg and his family have unmatched passion for the outdoors and Waterfowl conservation. Over the years they have become part of the family. They really are the feathered arm of BRINK EXCURSIONS.

Jerry Brink

The Chief Walleye Slayer

The tales and the stories never go dull when Jerry is in the mix. He has been the inspiration for generations of outdoors adventures. He grew up following his families traditions and making some of his own along the way. If there Walleye fishing to be done you better believe Jerry will be in for the adventure.

Mike Gager

TEAM BRINK EXCURSIONS

Mike has a long history of living the outdoor life with big game hunting from Central Asia, Africa to Alaska. Mike also is a skilled marksmen having a pile of medals, plaques, pins, cups from championships in - Small Bore, Sporting Rifle High-power, Service Rifle and Rimfire Sporter. We are happy to have him here at TEAM BRINK EXCURSIONS.

Jason Tietje

Pro-staffer & Guide 

Jason has a deep love and affection for hunting and fishing. Spending a large amount of his childhood next to his father showing him the way, inheriting his passion. During the spring Jason can be found chasing toms and targeting crappie on the larger reservoirs of Iowa. In the fall he can be found in a tree, pushing uplands for pheasant or in the duck blind.

David  capsopoulos

Team  BRINK  EXCURSIONS

David has been an outdoor enthusiast for his whole life. Doing everything from small game hunting to hunting Elk out West. In the last 8 years he has spent his time learning the ins and outs of precision reloading and long range shooting. Bow hunting and fishing in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota are some of his favorite past times. 

Eric Briggs

Team BRINK EXCURSIONS

Eric comes from the same family heritage of hunting. He grew up with deer season being a holiday. Stories of parents and grandparents going on wild adventures are always being told. Passionate hunter, competitor and a family man. Eager to help chase adventures and to be part of the hunt. 

Nathan Pevestorf

Team BRINK EXCURSIONS

Nate hails from humble origins, coming straight off the traditional Iowa farm. With many that don’t know, that means finding creative ways of entertaining yourself outside. As many do they pick up a long gun and see what they do can with it. Nate found a natural knack almost immediately in his youth. Being able to complete nearly impossible shots. As Nate has gotten older he has honed this talent into skill. With determination and dedication Nate has become a top performer in NRL22. He also shoots in Skeet, Trap, Sporting Clays, Pistol Disciplines and Long Range Shooting. With great sportsmanship and a great attitude Nate is a valuable part of Team BRINK EXCURSIONS.

Tyson  Fisher

LEO/MIL Sales Executive 

Tyson's marksmanship journey began at age 8 with a Daisy 750 BB gun, evolving through pheasant hunting, trap shooting, and deer hunting. His skills led him to the Iowa Marksmanship Team at 20, where he competed in State Regionals and All Army events. Now, Tyson brings his precision and combat shooting expertise to serve Military and Law Enforcement customers at Team​ BRINK EXCURSIONS.
