Saracen: The Original Four Legged Bag
Saracen was the horse Sam Houston rode during the Battle of San Jacinto. This war horse was killed during the battle and General Houston was wounded when he went down. In honor of this horse and the fight for freedom Warhorse Development is proud to present the Saracen Field Bag.
The beginning of this bag was at a match in Three Forks, MT when the owner was squaded with a former Marine Corps Scout Sniper. The former sniper was giving tips and advice to the entire squad when Warhorse Actual asked, "Why do you have so many bags?" The answer was each bag had a different job. There had to be a better way! And so ensued a conversation about what would be the best way to eliminate all that stuff and lighten the load. The One Bag Concept.
The versatility of this odd looking critter has yet to find limits. Tank traps, fences, rocks, tires, regular rear bag, extra support, over the top of a tripod, fence post, logs, the list goes on. This is a must have in any shooters toolbox.
The Saracen has a Velcro opening that allows you to adjust your fill. It sports 4 anchor points for straps (new straps/system included) and handles on each side for easy maneuvering. This bag weighs about 5.4 lbs so it is a hefty bugger, but it brings the support needed for any situation. The masses have spoken and all bags will now come with a non-slip top as the standard. This bag is about 7 inches tall and 8 inches square across the top. NOTE: All bags now come with standard straps. You can still custom order the Velcro or Side Buckle Straps make note on order or call in 641-485-7891.
You can now select the option of 4 QD Mounts instead of the traditional anchor points for straps. This allows you to personalize your bag even more based on what you want or need.
